Guess I was wrong

I was wrong, people aren’t racist, are they? Judging from some of the mail (and some were moderated comments I did not approve) I received after my post yesterday, obviously I was wrong for being upset. Here, judge for yourself how nice people are:

    You gotta wonder about those who are so hateful, shallow, and small-minded as to spew epithets on another person’s blog. (Please insert eternal sigh of exasperation here.)

    Good Lord! People DID NOT send you those hateful emails. I can’t believe it. Just believe that most of us are good, normal people who want everyone to get alike - black, white, green or purple.

    Part of that kind of thing is the nature of the anonymous internet. Part of it is also the fact that there are still plenty of assholes walking around out there. There are a lot of people like me rooting for Obama, but ultimately, there’s not much we can do but hope for the best and vote for him, which I already did.
