What Happened to Us?
Wow, time sure flies when you have writer’s block. It’s summer, Big Brother has started, and Texas has turned into Seattle. Seriously. It rains here ALL THE TIME. As I type this post, yep, it’s raining. Thundering and threatening to flood. Again. Obviously, Texas has done something to piss off the universe because we are about to float off the map.
Last weekend (or was it weekend before?) I watched the Live Earth special and Melissa Etheridge’s performance blew me away. It was awesome. If you have not seen it, watch it. Here’s the link. Be sure and watch both parts. I think she is so cool. If I was a lesbian, I would totally dig her. Well, except for the having sex part. But as a straight girl, I dig her music and her message.
Big Brother started last week and it’s been a boring group so far. However, I understand from one of my buddies who watches the live feed that there was a huge fight yesterday so I’m totally ready for some drama. I like to watch reality television because I prefer to keep the drama there instead of my real life. I used to think that I liked excitement in my personal life and maybe I still do, but I like POSITIVE excitement. A year or two of drama filled with the various crises can make you crave boredom in a big fat hurry.
When I sat down to write, I thought to myself, Hey, I have so much to say, I have not written on this silly blog in almost a month! Yet, while sitting here typing, I realize I still have nothing much to say. Mercury retrograde ended yesterday, and that’s a very good thing, so I am hopeful that the rest of the summer turns out awesome. It must. I have a lot to do.

I was wondering if you had floated away. It seems like all you guys are getting is rain. We hear all sorts of different things for news around the world but if they talk about Texas it’s pretty much rain and flood talk. Hope you see sun and dry soon!

I have been gone for two weeks and come back to the same old rain! It is driving me crazy. My yard looks like a swamp.
